Pitch Dingman Competition, the University of Maryland’s signature annual venture competition, showcases the university’s most talented student and alumni entrepreneurs by providing the opportunity to compete for seed funding and exclusive access to venture development resources. Ever growing, the Pitch Dingman Competition has more prizes available than ever before– a pool of over $150,000 in cash prizes and more.

Students and alumni from the University of Maryland of all majors and industries are encouraged to apply.

Beyond funding, the competition provides a vehicle for entrepreneurs to learn the skills needed to grow their ventures and deliver a successful venture pitch. At each level of the competition, these entrepreneurs deliver pitches to expert panels of judges composed of founders and investors, and receive feedback and coaching to take their skills to the next level.

I’m excited to join the stage with other UMD startups and pitch all attendees on the importance of authorship and writing in the AI-era.
