Cursive 2.1 Release – September 2025

We’ve been hard at work and continue to push the envelope of features for Moodle’s 1st (and best) Authorship and writing process tool: Cursive.

New Features

  1. Downloadable PDF report of Analytics data
  2. Assignment Submission Chart Visualization


UX Improvements

  1. Update Forum titles for Writing Statistics page with more context
  2. Improvements to playback/replay feature (pasted text highlights) 
  3. Update Authorship Icon state context (hover)


Admin Updates

  1. Customize help text in Course Settings 
  2. Allow/disallow JSON (data) downloads
